TOP EQUINE ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE   Producing top athletic performance for horses in competition can be cost effective, while maximizing benefits, without the use of illegal substances.   Omega 3 can benefit the cardiovascular system, provide anti-inflammatory properties and is good for brain function.   Gamma Oryzanol stimulates the release of endorphins and this stimulation results in an elevation of energy. Gamma Oryzanol is known to have antioxidant activity and in protecting the body against the destructive effects of free radicals in the body and preventing tissue damage that results from free radical action. Gamma oryzanol boost's strength, increases muscle gain, reduces body fat, speed's recovery and reduces post-exercise soreness.   Both Omega 3 and Gamma Oryzanol can be found in rice bran and flax seed and can be purchased in bulk, which saves money.  I prefer ground or oil, for better absorption.   Live digestive enzymes/probiotics is the key to a healthy digestive system.  Helps to prevent and heal ulcers caused by the stress of competition or use of medications that can kill the good bacteria needed for proper digestion.  Provides energy, reduces yeast infections and also aids in degenerative disease.   I prefer a 14% protein, withcontrolled starch, highly digestible fiber, which helps prevent colic, calorie-rich fats from rice bran oil, controlled starch levels, guaranteed amino acid levels, vitamins and minerals that are scientifically balanced, formulated with organic trace mineral complexes, added yeast culture and Microbial's. I prefer a pelleted feed which enhances the digestibility of the nutrients.  I don't like to see it come out in the horses feces, as is seen with many sweet feeds and whole and even crimped oats.  That is money down the proverbial toilet!  I will add a cup of Hulless oats for energy.   I recommend a timothy/alfalfa mix-- of exceptional quality, free of mold and dust.   For joint pain, I recommend Glucosamine Sulfate and Chondroitin.   I also recommend the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for many ailments, especially pulmonary issues, such as bleeders', (E.I.P.H.), pre and post surgery, wound care and inflammation caused by strenuous training and competition and helps heal both tissue and bone and muscle soreness to provide a faster return to peak performance.   As with any changes to diet or adding supplements, start gradually and consult a qualified veterinarian as each horse is different and has different needs.

I train warmblood show jumpers and have used Gamma Oryzanol and have noticed nice muscle without the craziness you would see with equipoise or winstrol. Amazing!! Great Hub.

Hello Aaron, I breed Thoroughbred's for race and sales. I use Gamma O as a supplement and also add rice bran & flax seed (which is rich in Gamma) a scoop of live enzymes (porbiotic's) and there is a remarkable difference in only two weeks on the eurorciser! NO STERIODS!!! Good Luck with your show horses and thanks for posting your comment.
