GARBAGE--U.S. NEWEST ENERGY!

Holy cow, why do we always get out done by the Japanese??

First, our automobiles are not as good as theirs, and now they lead the world in creating a way to use garbage as energy. Do we, the citizens of this great country, have to be led by the nose when it comes to what the greedy elite rich want??

Before we started out source jobs, by the hundreds of thousands, this country was looked on as the "greatest" on this planet. We had (and still do have) the wherewithal to invent and create many things of energy saving methods.

For the past several years Japan has been incinerating their garbage and turning it into electricity. And they are doing in the heart of Tokyo and other cities.

Their plants (21 total) create no smoke or odors and even have fitness centers for their citizens.

Their steam driven turbines linked to furances burns the garbage and generates electricity. Hell's, bells, the U.S. has been having trouble getting rid of their city's garbage. So, why don't we have turbines burning our garbage for electricity.

Recently, an article (Nov. 17 ) by Matthew Brown of the Associated Press stated that a problem exist in Great Falls, Montana in building a coal-fired power plant to avoid a or many "blackouts" in the future. The problem, the lack of finding money to build plants.

Five years ago the "North American blackout" turned the light out on 50 million people. Coal-fired plants emit polution and are not good for our clean air requirements.

We here in America still bury garbage in in landfills. Why??? Japan has been building this huge armada of incinerators, it was no secret. So, again , "why"haven't our industrial giants followed suit?? Or, better yet, why hasn't our government been building them??

Well, the answer to that probably lies in the fact of the money it takes to run Bush's wars, so his wealthy elite friends can get richer, which doesn't leave any for new technology. Although, Texas has a vast amount of "wind mills" creating energy. It's a safe bet that ranch in Crawford,Texas is energy efficient.

Surplus energy can be sold from these steam-driven turbines to benefit the government's cost of construction or even if the "big fellows" want to get into the business.

But, alas, it's easier to steal money from our government under the guise of war. Remember, Americans, there were no terrorist, as we know them now, until we gave Israel that land in 1947.

This country needs new energy to handle the ever growing capacity for electricity. If it doesn't happen, blackouts will occur and you can bet the farm on that.

The biggest trouble in this country today is $$$$$, and the ones who created it are still contributing to its problem. The name of that trouble is a four letter word B-A-N-K. Yeah, BANKS.

Our government gives them our money in a huge bailout and they have no restrictions on how to use it. WHY, WHY?? Aw, hell, we all know the answer to that question. Don't we??

Our government in the past two years has shelved over $45 billion in new energy projects. Now, would you say that's looking out for the benefit of this country's citizens???

Hope is riding on "change" in our government, but remember, it's got to be a combined effort between the citizens of this country, the president and Congress. So, keep emailing your Congressional leaders to vote for the issues that will benefit this great country.

Now, go softly into the night. mgf
