"Lord I feel distant, not as close as we used to be?  Do I have some unconfessed sin, or is it that I just haven't been making time for you?"

Do you take a moment in time to just stop and enjoy life? A time to rest from this busyness of life. To give your body, soul and mind a break.

Can you quiet your surroundings long enough to hear yourself breathe? Not letting your body move, just time to be still. A time to be still upon your bed or get out to sit by the calm waters.

Now is the time to draw near to God..and He will draw near to you. Maybe you need to stop and rest. The Bible does say we need not to just be a hearer of His word but a doer too:) Even resting and meditating on God's Word, is a good thing:) Pondering the verses we read, asking God to reveal deeper meanings to us.

There is a time for everything under the sun, you have heard. How long has it been since you took a vacation? Life gets so serious and busy, we forget sometimes that it is OK to treat ourselves to a little R & R. Yes Rest and Relaxation.

Resting in the arms of love, His Love:) In the shadows of His Wings! A time to not only love, but to be loved. A place we can call home, a pillow we can rest our head, a place to be warm and fed. With peace comes rest, and rest comes from living a righteous life. I know we still have struggles and trials, but one day those will be over for good:)

Even our feet have to rest from a weary journey. The journey of this life, in the end there has to be, a peaceful rest for everlasting life, if we choose the right path. There is a path for our souls. Which path will you choose to walk on?
