All creativity comes out of inner spaciousness. Once the creation has happened and something has come into form, you have to be vigilant so that the notion of “me” or “mine” does not rise. If you take credit for what you accomplished, the ego has returned, and the spaciousness has become obscured.

When I was creating the Total True Love system (a methodology for finding the true love within yourself and in the world, i.e., total true love.), I was in a state of sheer joy. I was doing what I love to do – developing a how-to manual.

Now, there is basis for this joy. Let me explain through a story. Imagine a 13-year old girl sitting alone at a picnic table watching about five other girls laugh and giggle. Wanting to join with them but not having the faintest idea of how to break in to that seemingly closed circle of fun. That 13-year old girl was me.

I desperately wanted to go over and join their group. But I was scared. I didn’t know how. So I sat at a picnic table looking dejected. My mom came over and asked what was wrong. I told her my sad plight expecting her to ease my fear by telling me what to do and how to do it.

My mom, bless her heart, told me she didn’t know what to tell me other than to just go over there. I asked her ‘what do I say as I walk up?’ She proceeded to tell me a story of how one time she was in the same situation she didn’t know how and just had gone home. Then she got up and when back to her group of adults.

Looking back at this, it’s no surprise that I’ve spent most of my adult life writing how-to documents. I even owned a technical writing firm for 18 years.

I love sharing what I have learned with others. Now it took me awhile to get used to the fact that not everyone will follow my suggestions. Or that maybe my how-to processes are not right for everyone. The ultimate philosophy I’ve adopted is take what works for you and leave the rest.

Fast forward to a few years ago, when I developed this great process for how to find true love. As I started to share it with the world, I would say the Total True Love system. One day I said to an advisor my Total True Love system. I was praised profusely for claiming the system as mine. It meant, they assured me, that I had taken ownership of it.

In that one instance on praise (and I do love praise), my ego woke up and said ‘finally, you get how good I am.’

The funny thing is that I’ve had a bit of a hard time marketing this system. There was no inner peace in what I was doing. There was only not-enoughness. So, I’m changing my strategy for marketing Total True Love because it seems to have been one obstacle after another.

For quite some time I’ve struggled. Now, I’m going to relax and relinquish the shoulds and should nots of success and just share the Total True Love system with the world in an easy and detached manner. I’m still going to use the internet and radio but in a very different way.

I’ve just stated an intention. In stating and claiming that intention – to share my the Total True Love system with the world in an easy and detached manner - I’ve excited the molecules of my very body into action. This is so important because we have cellular memory that works on an unconscious level.

Another one of my great loves in life is crisis coaching. I’ve always been a cauldron of space that could hold the emotions of others as they work through their crisis. I think as Tolle says I ‘become one with the situation… and the solution emerges out of the situation itself,’ or out of the person who is in the crisis. All I do is sit and hold them energetically so they can explore the answers that are within them.

I do believe the answers are within you. I designed the Total True Love system in such a way that people can discover themselves in a fun environment of music and metaphor. The fact is that I put the True Love Coach on paper – you don’t need me. And, that is how I want it. I want you to be self-sufficient. If I need you to need me, then I become needy myself and need my own coaching. Now I realize I can create my new earth with my new intention: to share the Total True Love system with the world in an easy and detached manner.
