The Earth Hour to Earth Day Challenge

The cool folk at Cool People Care have issued the Earth Hour to Earth Day Challenge. Between Earth Hour on March 28th and Earth Day on April 22nd they're challenging us to do one thing each day that educates someone else as to the very green changes they could make in their life.

Are YOU up for the challenge?

You have 3 and a half weeks (that's 26 days) - more than enough to make a difference.  And there are loads of things you can do to help spread the word about the importance of living lightly on the earth, conserving resources and making a difference.

Sign up today. Cool People care are giving away a copy of New Day Revolution to everyone that completes the Challenge.  Its a great book which has over a hundred ideas for things you can do to make the world a better place.

Need Some Ideas to Get Started?

The EH2ED Challenge is to do one thing each day that educates someone else as to the green changes that they could make to their life.

Here are some ways to do that:

  • Post sustainable living tips on your blog
  • Send tweets to your followers about green living (don't forget to use the #eh2ed hashtag)
  • Join an eco-conscious group on Facebook
  • Share photos of the earths beauty
  • Use one of the many Facebook aps that donate money to environmental or humanitarian causes
  • Host a green living party
  • Spread the word about your favourite environmental cause via YouTube
  • Challenge yourself to reduce your household waste by half over the EH2ED challenge period (and blog about it!!)

What will YOU be doing?
