At our local Walmart Super Center there are two big boxes at the entrance where customers can bring in old phone books, newspapers, and magazines. I know we have tons of old phone books in our house I need to round up and take to Walmart. Not only would I have the extra space but I would feel much better about getting rid of those old phone books and magazines.

I am not for sure what Walmart does with their collection but I am sure that have a contract for someone to come pick it all up. Those who come and pick up Walmart's collection may some how make some profit off of the deal. Maybe a little investigation on the subject will bring some information. If you happen to know something or head something about stores collecting for recycle please let me know. I would be interested to know.
