There are many sites available where you can take surveys and make money. Following are reviews of 2 of the survey sites that I personally use.

• SurveySpot. SurveySpot pays a minimum of $1 for the surveys that they pay. The problem with SurveySpot is most of their surveys do not pay any money, you simply get a free entry into a $25,000 drawing. There are several surveys in the $3-$5 range so you can make a little money here. The good thing about SurveySpot is that you only need to accumulate $5 to request payment. Another good thing about SurveySpot is that they notify you via e-mail when there is a survey that you may qualify for.
• Opinion Outpost. This site pays in points, but points translate in to dollars. 10 points is equal to $1.00. Most surveys pay between $2-$4, which is pretty good money for taking a survey. Opinion Outpost only sends you surveys that you have a decent chance to qualify for. You also only need 50 points ($5) to qualify for payment. This is my favorite of the online survey sites that I use.

I do not make a lot of money taking surveys online. I have difficulty qualifying for most surveys. I still average around $10 per month from Opinion Outpost and $5 per month from SurveySpot. You may have more success qualifying for surveys than I do. If you look around, you can find surveys that will pay around $50. They catch here is that first you have to qualify. Then you have to be available when they want you so you can participate in some kind of forum. If you have flexible hours, you can take advantage of this. If you don't have flexible hours and want to bring in an extra few hundred dollars each year, online surveys is certainly something to consider.
