The Chennai city (CC) theatrical rights of Vikram-Shriya starrer Kanthasamy, directed by Susiganesan has been sold for a record Rs 4.01 crore!

The film is likely to release April last week or May first week, depending on the parliament elections that are due in April. The entire shoot of this action adventure is complete and the film is in the postproduction stages.
