Priyamani was introduced by veteran director Bharathiraja in Kollywood. Her debut movie Kangalal Kaidhu Sei and further few movies didn't do well. She acted in few telugu films in the mean time. Priyamani managed to be very careful and choosy after her Paruthiveeran success.
She was never hesitant to be glamorous and most of her movies had her glamourous exposures, at least in song sequences. Priya's upcoming movies will be Bharath starrer Aarumugam, next a Maniratnam movie, another one is reportedly a remake of mallu movie Classmates.
