Meet your problem head on

Having the proper perspective when you have a problem that you must confront, is perhaps half the solution. If you think that you will arrive at a workable answer to any problem in life that you face, you are more than likely to be able to apply all your known resources and skills to come to a satisfactory conclusion. That old saying "if you think you can, you will", has a lot of meaning. The moment you think you will not be able to solve your problem, the process of being in charge and having the ability to work through the problem starts to break down. You lose confidence and the rest is all downhill and you will probably wind up with a bigger problem than you started with. So it is very necessary that you believe you will solve the problem from the very beginning. Keeping a positive attitude is quite essential to the entire process.

Then your perspective on how large the problem is, needs to be adjusted. Thinking that the situation is so huge that it will be impossible to get to the bottom, and fix it, is self-defeating.Turn the mountain into a molehill and see yourself as having solved the problem already. After you change your perspective, the weight of solving it should shift to how to get to the solution, not whether or not you can solve the problem. A strong belief in your ability to take control and work through the problem should be your goal. Believe that you have the power to solve anything, and guess what, you will gain that ability, the power of positive thinking is a reality. Remove self-doubt and embrace self sufficiency, it will become a part of your nature.

If it will help, write down the steps you want to take to solve your problem. Outline the plan to arrive at your destination, which is that your problem is solved. Never doubt that you will break through any barriers that would hinder you in getting to the solution, to whatever problem confronts you. Once that particular problem has been taken care of, the experience you gain will help you with other situations. Success breeds success, especially in problem solving. Implementing these steps should help you tame any problem, that masquerades as a. mountain.
