Tanning Bed Bulbs - Brighten Up and Go Bronze
65A complete guide to tanning bed bulbs and bulb replacement.
Tanning bed bulbs are usually needed when the bulbs on your tanning bed either run out completely, or they start to become ineffective at tanning because they are reaching the end of their natural life cycle. Tanning beds are a very popular method used by many people around the world to create a tan on their body without having to go out into the sun. This is especially useful in climates where the amount of sunshine is limited, or for use before you are due to go on holiday to a country with a lot of sunshine. They can be a far more effective alternative to using fake tanning products, such as creams and lotions, because they actually give you a real tan on your body, without the sunshine. There are tanning salons in all major cities and many smaller towns around the world.
Like everyday, household bulbs, tanning bed bulbs have a limited life and start to become ineffective when they are about to run out, however, it is sometimes hard to know when your tanning bed bulbs are running out of power and need to be replaced. One really easy way to find out if your bulbs are due a replacement is by measuring the effectiveness of your tanning bed. If a bed which is usually very good starts to provide a less effective tan, then there is a very high chance that the bulbs should be replaced. This is especially true if the same bulbs have been fitted for a while, but if you have only recently replaced or installed new bulbs then their may be another reason for your bed under performing. Bulbs for tanning beds are different from regular bulbs because they start to lose their effectiveness at providing a tan a while before they actually run out completely. You should always aim to replace your bulbs when around eighty percent of their power has been used up.
When it comes to replacing your bulbs the first thing you should do is to note the make and model of your tanning bed - this should be easy to find on the product itself or on any documentation which came with it. Also take a note of the bulb size and wattage of the bulbs. The standard sizes of bulb are F71, F72 and F73. A good place to start for finding a retailer who can provide replacement bulbs is with the place that you bought the bed from, or you can also research local or mail order companies who sell tanning bulbs and might be able to offer a better price for your products. It is always a good idea to compare prices for the same items across a wide range of retailers, to find the best possible deal for your bulbs. Internet websites such as eBay are another good source for buying tanning bed bulbs.
