Target Market Writing Class for Search Engine Optimization
61Writing with Pull - A Review
With Attraction Marketing becoming the new wave among network marketers and small business owners, one very important skill has made the top priority list: writing. For some, it is a long forgotten skill from school days. For others, the skill never existed in the first place, making the pathway of attraction marketing not very - - - attractive.
How Are Your Writing Skills?
The need for competent writing skills threatens to stop more than a few in their search for an online business - mostly because the online business is all about creating content at multiple social sites on the internet. Are you among those with poor writing skills? Does the very thought of writing an article make you break into a sweat? Are you ready to be encouraged? Here it is: Moving past your fear isn’t all that difficult when you have the right training.
"Writing with Pull"
I had the experience of taking a writing course this year called, “Writing with Pull”. This class is taught by Mike Klingler from Renegade University - a highly recommended training site for those interested in learning the attraction marketing model.
I was among those challenged with the ‘brick wall’. I could stare for hours at a blank sheet of paper - ideas frozen - not knowing how to write, who I was going to write to or what I wanted to say. I was overwhelmed and did not know how to break the process down into small portions that were easily manageable.
From the very first class I was captivated. We learned a formula - a blue print if you will - for creating content without the stress and struggle of past experiences. Instead of being told to just create content, we learned HOW to think, and HOW to brainstorm to get that content.
Some of the highlights of this class for me were:
1. Learning how to relax and actually have FUN during the brainstorming process. It was a real eye opener to be able to sit back and enjoy the process.
2. The importance of using good key words by taking advantage of sites like freekeywords.wordtracker.com or goodkeywords.com.
3. How to identify a target market. I thought I had only one target market. I was surprised to see my list grow considerably.
4. How to rate the importance of your key word ranking: what numbers were good and which ones were too competitive.
5. Learning how to come up with key points - in other words - an outline of sorts. This is where it always used to fall apart for me. I always wrote my paper first - then did an outline!
I saved my favorite for last. This tip - for me - was by far the most helpful and the most fun. I could even do it with my eyes shut - just typing away…
6. Finish this sentence at least 7 times: It’s about…….
I was amazed at how I could release a huge list of thoughts with no effort at all. This list is the basis for everything else.
For anyone really wanting to embrace the new market model, I highly recommend stopping by Renegade University to take a look. Everything you need - including the training in that all important skill of writing good content - is at your fingertips. Learn how to move past your fears and ride the wave toward attraction marketing with the ever increasing number of network marketers and small business owners. Enjoy the process of a system that actually works.
