The only real way to get a tarot reading that is not generated by a computer, which has no subconcious mind to mention, is to learn how to read tarot yourself.  Reading tarot is not nearly as difficult as some might think, in fact if you have just a little time every few days, you can easily begin to build a relationship with your cards. 

So exactly what do they do and how can they help you in your life?

People all over the world have discovered that working with tarot cards is very similar to working with memory cards.  The difference of course being that they are not improving their memeories, but rather their ability to access their subconcious mind.

Having the ability to tap into your 6th sense and to feel confident that your intuition is right on the mark is something that we are all capable of and deserve.  Over time, however, this ability, which we were all born with, has begun to fade into non-existance for many.  The cards have the ability to bring that ability back into being with by the simple premise of "if you practise something, you will eventually be able to do it".

The first thing you want to do is to chose the cards that are right for you.  Remember that there are no right or wrong choices when it comes to cards.  Some people chose their cards because of the way they look, or the language they are written in or even to correspond with the books they are using to learn Tarot.  There is no wrong answer here.

Once you have the cards, you will want to get to know each one in turn.  Spend time with them, look at the various symbols represented and read about those symbols in as many places as you feel you need to. 

Over time you will begin to feel like you understand what is meant when they appear in front of you and this is when you can start to work on various spreads. 

There are many books available online that will show you a variety of spreads including day to day personal reading spreads, and spreads for the future, present and past. 

For most people the pleasure of reading for oneself is enough, for others they may want to take this ability to the next level and offer readings to others.  You will instincively know when it is time for you to take this step.

The interpretations of the cards are as many as they are colorful.  What you initially learn from your books will stand you in good stead, but just as the cards have changed over the centuries, so have some of the interpretations.  This is because the world is constantly changing and that is in fact the magic of these wonderful learning tools.  They are not bound by a time nor a place.  They have enlightened the masses over centuries and will continue to do so for centuries to come.
