Tattoo Poem
68Angelina
Snippett
So they piled him in the panda
car and drove him from the scene.
He was peaceable and wearier
than lately he had been
through indulging in a potion
to inhibit neural motion
which was wholly understanda-
ble in someone whose posterior
had borne the ministration
of a tyro in tattoo.
His instruction had been simple -
'On the left, in navy blue,
Angelina, and above it
coupled hearts (I think she'll love it
for its bold and inspiration-
al enhancing of a dimple)'.
But the over-eager Eddy
in a bid to make his name
added anchors and an anvil
and an unadorned dame,
seven pheasants and a weevil
(that looked hideously evil)
and to crown it, an incredi-
ble attempt at Rupert Granville.

;)
If all goes to plan :)
I actually enjoyed it.. I agree, it was very creative and entertaining. Good job!
Thanks DK - just a bit of fun :)
Paraglider - the words just roll off your keyboard so effortlessly, don't they?
Years ago, I would try to 'loosen' my tongue like Enid Blyton's character Fatty - didn't get me beyond gibberish and I realised that kind of talent is only given to a fortunate few!
Hi Shalina - I'd forgotten about Fatty. He was one of the Secret Seven, wasn't he?
No - the Five Findouters :)
and dog, of course!
I love the Poet in you! You know I am one of your BIGGEST FANS!!
I love your stuff- Julie
