I am not a great fan of Tattoos , but I am learning to live with them
I don't like tattoos. Maybe because my parents strongly threatened me that if I came home with a body part tattooed, I'd leave without either.Body art is everywhere now and the new craze seems to be buying the designs online. I suppose this doesn't limit you to limited designs available at your local tattoo parlor. Instead of wandering in drunk at 3 am and getting some girls name you just met on your forehead, you can sit back in the comfort of your own home and find the design that apparently God forgot to put on your bicept.
Some Bad Tatoos
I have seen some bad tattoos in my life
There have been several times in my life when I have come across a girl with a tattoo that made me feel that they would have been better off with a hairy birthmark. One girlfriend had a Betty Boop on her ankle that looked like she was drawn by a 4th grader, wait, a drunk 4th grader. Another girl had her sons name across her back that was so big and bright that it looked like something you'd see spray painted on the side of a U-Haul. I have a friend now who got a tattoo years ago and has since gained and lost and gained back weight which contorted the heart tattoo so much that it looks like a flip phone. I watched a girl I know get a tattoo on a webcam on Stickam Chat. Her brother was the artist and after meeting him I wouldn't let him paint the letters on my mailbox let alone ink my skin. After seeing some of there failed attempts at expression, I realize the need for the designs to be thought out and well planned and a compitency test should be administered to both the tattooee and tattooer.

Tattoos are nice for other people, I just do not want one myself. Once I was offended when someone sent me an online message asking if I would like to get a tattoo at his shop. I told him I was not interested and he said he had just been trying "raise interest in his business". Honestly, I do not think any should assume someone hates or love tattoos because you never know how someone will feel about this issue. Thanks for writing this interesting hub.

I have two tatoos one of my daughters name running down the back of my arm and the other a celtic cross on my shoulder. They both look nice and I have a reason for them both. Once my second child is born I will have their name tatooed on me as well. Same place but opposite arm. I don't see why people just walk into a shop and say give me that one but I know that I got each of mine for a reason and I will get more if I think that I need one to express a spacific event in my life. If I knew that I no longer had to worry about working and never needed a job again I would be covered in them from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. I know that it isn't for everyone but I like the way it feels as the gun runs over the lines on my skin.
My tattoos all have meaning , I have 3 I have a sword and a rose with a banner with my son's name in it and I have a phoinex with a rose with my girl's name in it and on my back I have a memorial for my dad. Never walk into a store and say I want that one take soem time to think about it.
I love tattoos, but I agree that I have seen many bad ones. One of which on ym B/F's arm. I love mine, and can't wait to get more. I'd love to get one with a friend next week, but she's going to a different guy than I use.
But anyway, the sites you posted are ok. I just prefer to have my tattoos thought out by myself and designed my my tattoo guy.
See here is another funny Hub that always makes me laugh. Do not worry about what people say about you here because I have had people say some really rude things to me. Honestly, it is not worth it letting it get you down because I think your fans will always value you. By the way, I told that Hubber to take the reference of you out and I hope she will.
The sites you posted are pretty interesting. But I probably won't get another tattoo any time soon. (It hurts, and I'm a wimp.) So far I have only one tattoo(good one) on my foot. :-)
I happen to like tattoos - but they have to be tasteful, mind you! In fact I would even consider it to be beautiful art if done correctly.
I personally dont like coloured tattoos - just black...
I've got three and they are quite sexy if you don't mind me saying! Lol
