Taylor Swift is an amazing role model for young girls. Seems very mature & responsible. There are so many waste-of-space celebrities that actually can do more harm than good to kids and young adults by their actions, but not Taylor.

Her VMA moment was taken away from her by Kanye West, but her class (like Beyonce) was not.

She told Rolling Stone that she's never experimented with cigarettes or drunk even a bit of alcohol. She even lives with her parents still, in the same room she lived in when she was a baby.

Taylor is not like the pop girls of today. She isn't Paris Hilton with her sex tape or Miley Cyrus with another scandalous photo being released.  If you believed in behaviorism, the synics i us would have little hope for any young girls to grow up and do anything important. Maybe Swift can change that feeling?

Taylor on being a role model:

Taylor writes her own songs hitting first with a campy song about fellow country crooner Tim McGraw. But her talent isn't lost on mainstream. The New York Times stated, "Swift is one of pop's finest songwriters, country’s foremost pragmatist and more in touch with her inner life than most adults."

Swift was the biggest selling artist of 2008 in America as she had combined sales of more than four million albums! With that success she has now become the second biggest touring artist in the country for any genre, right behind country's own Kenny Chesney. Taylor Swift's LA concert sold out in two minutes, a record for the Staples Center.  At 19 yrs old Forbes had declared that Taylor Swift is ranked as the 69th most powerful celebrity with over $18 million in earnings this year!

She's not going anywhere soon!

For the young fans that may not want only to be like her, but may like to dress like Taylor Swift.  She is a down home country girl that is still a young woman with a fashion sense. But her fashion can be found at shops like Forever 21, even Target and Kohls.
