Pointers to Making a Perfect Cup of Tea-Pot Hot Tea

* Bring fresh cold water to a vigorous boil, preferably in a tea-kettle.

* Pre-heat the tea-pot with hot water and empty it before placing in the tea bags.

* Use one Top Quality Tea bag for every 2 to 2.5 cups of tea depending on the required strength. Place the number of required tea bags into the tea-pot.

* Take the tea-pot to the kettle when the water is briskly boiling and pour the boiling water over the tea bags to the desired volume of water in the tea pot.

* Give the tea mixture a quick stir with a wooden or clay ladle. Replace the lid of the tea-pot and have the tea mixture boil a full five minutes in order to brew properly.

* After five full minutes of brewing time, reduce the heat to low. Lift the tea pot lid and give the tea a quick stir and gently squeeze the tea-bags within the tea-pot before removing them. This gets as much of the fresh superb flavor and quality of the tea remaining in the tea bags before you remove them.

* Serve as desired with sugar, milk or lemon available for use. For Iced Tea

*For Iced Tea make the tea just as above and pour into a porcelain or glass jug.

* Add a little fresh cold water and stir in sugar or sweeter to taste, if desired.

* Sire in freshly squeezed lemon juice, to desired taste of tartness.

* Add ice-cubes and chill before serving. Variation

If desired you can add mint leaves to the tea at the same time you put in the lemon juice. That is also the time to add fresh fruit cut up if you want a slightly fruity taste added to your iced tea.
