Is this you? Call your dog and he ignores you and then you continue to call him until you finally have to go to the dog and grab him by the collar to get his attention to come with you. Your dog needs obedience training and using a Dogtra 200NCP dog collar is an easy way to achieve fast results.

Dogs are not too different from our kids because they first have to learn to respect us and understand that when we tell them something they need to obey or consequences occur. When training the come command you will put the collar on the dog at least 30 minutes before training. Make sure it is snug enough so that the leads are connecting to your dog's neck but not too tight that you cannot put your fingers in between his neck and collar.

Attach a long line to the dog and go outside. You are holding the long line. Set the level of the training collar to about 20 to start. This is a basic training level. What your dog will feel is about the same as if you receive stimulation at the Chiropractor. You may have to decrease or increase stimulation depending on the sensitivity level of your dog.

The dog collar is great because you don't need to pull your arm out of socket or yank on the dog's neck to achieve this training.

Walk away from the dog until you are at the end of the long line. Make sure the dog it not paying attention to you. Call your dog, press the nick button, turn and take two or three fast walking steps away from your dog causing the long line to give a tug to your dog.

Look at your dog. If he is looking at you call him again and if he happily comes praise him for coming. If he doesn't, press the nick button again on the Dogtra 200NCP Dog Collar and give another tug with the long line. Hint: Your dog is going to look confused right now because he does not know what this sensation is coming from right now. He does not know if a bee is stinging him or lightning is hitting him so you are teaching him with the long line and direction that the sensation is coming from you.

Keep clicking the "Nick" button and tugging the line backward until your dog starts to come toward you. As soon as he starts coming to you stop clicking the nick button. He will learn that the "nick" stimulation stops when he gets close to you.

Praise him when he gets to you.

Let him wander away again and try this again. You should see a faster response from him coming to you.
