Teamwork Works...

Teamwork, hmmm, is that a new word in network marketing?

I have been tossing this around in my head for a few days now and I decided that I might as well just sit my butt down and get to it. I know you probably have heard about teamwork in your ventures on the Internet over the past couple of years. Teamwork is relatively new to network marketing and especially online networking. I have seen a rise in the number of sites that promote a teamwork concept in the past year in fact.

A Team?

I have been associated with a group online for the past three years. We like to call ourselves a team. Maybe a family would be a better name. Not one in the true sense of the word, but a close knit group who cares about each other and what is going on in our individual families. In fact, we probably communicate amongst our group better than our own families communicate.

This group, we call a team, is comprised of a member base within an online community of network marketers. We sell advertising space for a low annual fee. You must sell something in order to have money move through to the members. I don't know of a better way to make money than to outright sell something. I believe it. Wal-Mart is a very good example of how to make money... They sell stuff!

Let's see how the team works...

So, our team works together and we promote the sale of our advertising venue. Every Sunday afternoon, we go to our special forum to find out which day of the week we will ALL do our advertising (Yes, we have to advertise in order to sell stuff). Some people would call what we do as a team as blitzing or a blitz. I guess that is a good term for it. It works! So, we advertise our wares on a given day of the week with the team. Our ads all say the same thing. So, everywhere the ad is sent gets the same message... and a lot of them! Either before that given day or after it, all of the team members advertise on another day of the week for the team.

And my point about this teamwork thing...

Given specific criteria in the advertising, the ads all point the receiver to a single place... a single URL. No, it isn't a referral link in the ad. It is I suppose in a technical sense, but not an individual referral link as most people know it.

So, ads are responded to and prospects visit the Team URL. What happens then is this. The prospects are gathered and evaluated through a short questionaire. The call team follows up with the prospect and makes the sale for the whole team. But that isn't the only teamwork thing I was wanting to tell you about.

The prospects like what they hear about our Team and decide to become a part of it because of... you guessed it... the teamwork thing! You are never left to fend for yourself or be in competition with other members. By simply being a member of the team, members are given the prospects (on a rotational basis) that are referred to our group by the efforts of the team and not just by their individual efforts alone. Of course, members are certainly encouraged to advertise for themselves in the course of growing a team for themselves. But, teamwork helps the members to do the necessary without having to do it alone. Individual sales are welcomed and the member is rewarded as a result.

We have a group of honest and caring members and they all work together in harmony to create this synergistic outcome for the whole team. So, I can say without fear of contradiction that Teamwork Works!
