Technology vs. Human interaction... is speech a dying art? Will the art of conversation prevail?

people are crazy
when i tell that i mean it
see the following situations
situaton 1.-
i n an information tech work place where human beings are treated within cubicles the neighbouring cubicle person calls in a mobile when she can just lean across and talk
situation 2.
a guy and a pretty girl who obviously were dating on a roof top restaurant had dinner with the guy and the girl engaged in their mobiles throughout their dinner
situation 3
a young engineer crosses the train track talking on his mobile and gets knocked down by a speeding train
situation 4
an elderly successful businessman was imprisoned in an intensive care unit and though he knew fully well that he wont survive he was not allowed to communicate or see his wife relatives sons or friends. and he died regretting it.
so as we think we are modernising ourselves we do not travel along with nature
even a plant does not survive without good air, sunlight and water but we construct huge IT Parks and live inside AIRCON, glow-lit, mineral-water cubicles.- we call it developed world.
we do not use our special senses all five of them
of late we are not using our brains so why bother about not using only expression of speech and listening skills.
we are speaking into the mobile and listening to TV.
THAT WILL MAKE US LIVE HEALTHY AND LONGER .
thanks for asking this question
