These days, fashion is making serious statements that have parent's heads more than turning; they are spinning out of control.

The tattoo mania that stormed America as the "in-style" gave parents an earful to say to their teenagers. However, the latest Hollywood fashion trend has parents speechless with the new black popping out, not up being pregnancy.

U.S. teen pregnancies are on the rise after a steady decline from 1991 to 2005. According to the National Center for Health Statistics, birth rates for teenagers aged 15 to 17 rose by 3 percent in 2006.

Many sources blame young single celebrity females and the media for promoting and glamorizing pregnancy with movies such as Knocked Up and Juno.

Even Mickey's former Mousketeer and Nickelodeon's teen network stars Jamie Lynn and pop idol sister Britney Spears are both single young mommies that are notoriously populating magazine covers.

Recently, news headlines covered a teenage "pregnancy pact" allegedly among 17 high school girls planning to raise their babies together as a group.

Coming home tattooed and pierced is nothing in comparison to baring a baby bump. Fortunately, for tattoo trend followers, tattoo removal can undo tattoo fashion regret but there is no-undoing motherhood.

Being a young new mommy may be glamorous if you are a celebrity like the Spears sisters, Angelina Jolie, or Ashley Simpson but unfortunately not the case if for all of the mainstream trendy teens.

Everyone knows fashion is fleeting with styles and trends coming and going. Therefore, I think any teenage parent out there would gladly treat their daughter to lunch followed by getting a tattoo in order to prevent a fading fashion trend from becoming permanent teenage regret.
