Teenage Jobs That Any Teenager Could Do
51What's a good job for your 15 year old?
During these tough economic times, everyone is having a hard time finding work. And that includes teenagers. If you think it's tough trying to find a job with years of experience, and a strong resume, just imagine how tough it would be for 15-year-old to try and find their first job. I know, I have a 15-year-old daughter who would love to have her own cell phone, but her parents insist that she pay for it herself. Like many teenagers, looking for work, she doesn't require a lot of money just a bit of disposable income to cover a few of those things she'd like to have.
One of the best places for kids to make money online these days, and believe it or not is the Internet. While they may need a parent or guardian to sign them up for certain services, there's no reason for teenagers not to make money online. They certainly spend enough time there anyway, why not turn some of the screen time into a disposable income for them.
Chances are, they have a huge network of friends thanks to the social media sites they belong to like FaceBook and MySpace. And with all the texting, and blogging they're doing, they're basically generating tons of content for other people's websites. And, not getting paid for it. Rather than filling FaceBook, and MySpace up with all their thoughts and aspirations, they should really have their own blogs. They can get them free, at blogspot.com, or places like HubPages, and Squidoo.
The a high-traffic blog visited by tons of teenage friends, could easily be monetized into making money for your teenager with advertising from Google, or affiliate products from Amazon or eBay. I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult, for a teenager who spent their entire summer messing around online to create a blog with hundreds or even thousands of pages. Those pages could be generating hundreds of thousands of dollars a month of income.
Then once their friends realize how easy was for them to make money with their blog, and then they'll all be starting one. Before you know it, they'll all be linking together an entire social media network of blogs sharing plenty of visitors, and getting lots of traffic from search engines. Simply because they keep linking to each other.
Apart from the nice aspect of your teenager having their own source of income, they also have their own little business. Now that's not something that every teenager looking for a job is able to achieve. It's also a valuable life skill. They can make money, learn some responsibility, and possibly become financially independent at an earlier age.I'm actually surprised, though more Internet marketers aren't passing on their skills and knowledge to their children.
