Teenagers and Witchcraft,a little advice.
56Let me guess, you are a teenager? And you have seen movies like "The Craft" perhaps you watch "Charmed"? I am not making fun of you,but you may be a bit naive about this.
Either way you just don't gain "witch powers".You are either born with them or you are not.It also takes years of studying and dedication. And I wouldn't define our powers as "superhuman".
What do you think these powers are? Who do you look up to?
Do your homework and you must take this seriously.Find a legitimate New Age store.
Please don't go to Borders for any books, their New Age section is a joke.Stores like Borders and Amazon are too commercial
.
If you are truly serious about this, then you will do your homework.Wicca is not all about powers and magic.
It's about embracing the religion as a whole. You must take the bad with the good.
You also must be able to take responsibility for your actions.
A few words to look up:
Karma
The Wiccan Rede
The Three Fold Law
I wish you luck on your journey and I pray to the Goddess you find your right path.

what you must also understand is Wicca is a religion. Witchcraft is not. witchcraft is a practice, a person may practice witchcraft without ever following the wiccan path. and "powers" are not something you are simply born with...being able to practice witchcraft is something that simply takes practice and dedication. i have been a practicing wiccan for years...folling the old traditions. rarely now do i use the term wicca to describe myself anymore. i use witch simply for the fact that when you read the history of it, it is not New Age. it simply only now has become "popular" from media and fads. New Age is what some people turned the wiccan religion into.
