Is it just me? Why is my beautiful teenage daughter driving me crazy....Is it too much to ask for teens of today to behave them selves.If I was from the Victorian era then my daughter would be seen and not heard.Not only would she obey my every command but she wouldn't be out to the clubs tonight.

Ok...This is the very first time she will have been and I guess she could be a terror,roaming the streets and doing unmentionable things(but why does she need to go to a club)..By tomorrow morning I will have no nails ,no hair and probably no functioning brain left.I am a nervous wreck and have already smoked far too many cigarettes...

This is what you could call a 'catch 22' situation. If I say no I can guarantee she will go any way with out my blessing and then that will mean she has lied to me.On the other hand,I know she wants to see her friend who has left the area and is back for a short while.So naturally she would be going there for a sleep over and simply go out regardless.Naturally I wouldn't want her to not see her peer and would allow the sleep over.

I found it easier to simply give in! Does this make me a failure?I hope it doesn't because at least this way no lies are involved(I guess I have to trust her some time).When I became pregnant I was totally oblivious as to what being a parent would involve,may be if I had known I could have got my money back(lol). No,seriously I am just about surviving parenting but boy is it difficult.

How am I supposed to know when my 'baby' is grown up?How do I know when she is ready to venture out in to this big scarey world all alone?Simple?No way....The answer is, she is probably ready now but the problem is I am not! I wish right now I had a very large trunk that I could put her in to and several unbreakable locks,with only one key for all that I would keep.This would definitely keep her safe and most certainly keep me sane and from turning yet ever more grey.

I have come to the conclusion that my teenager is very stressful,some times annoying but one I couldn't live with out.Future parents beware,it could be YOU next(lol).
