10. The Bone Collector........This movie with Denzel Washington as an ex cop mentoring rookie cop Angelina Jolie as they search for a deranged killer will leave you chilled to the bone.

9.  A Haunting  in Connecticut....I'm not normally a "restless spirit" believer, but this story, based on true events made me a believer. 

8. Friday the 13th (original)...Oh my goodness, a killer at a sleep a way camp?  Who would have thunk it?  The real surprise is who the original killer was.

7.  From Hell....Johnny Depp's performance along with the Huddleson Brother's writing and directing made this take on Crane's fable was nothing short of brilliant.

6.  Vacancy.....After seeing this movie, would you really stop at a hotel again?  Ok maybe not take it that far, but you might think about it.

5.  Sorry, Wrong Number....It makes me glad we no longer have operator dialing.

4.  Body Double.....Yes, it kinda gets murky, but this movie made me close my blinds.

3.  Carrie.....Made me want to treat everyone kindly.

2.  Halloween...(original) John Carpenter's master piece what dared to do something horror movies rarely did....Left out the gore

1.  Psycho....A story of madness and desperation with a little lust thrown in,  Hitchcock's best movie, hands down....
