Ten Twitter Marketing Tips

If you’re thinking of using Twitter to help you make more money online but don’t know yet how to make the most of it, here are some tips that can help you.

1. Post update links to your blog and put your website in your BIO

2. If you use article marketing, sites like ezinearticles.com have the ability to post all approved articles to your Twitter. This can get your followers reading new articles and clicking links in your resource box

3. Get involved in high traffic conversations. When you see that a topic on Twitter is HOT (because it’s listed as #topic on the top of the page), join in because you’ll have more chances of new people following you and tweeting your @username which will get their followers following you.

4. Comment occasionally in your status about new product release you’re working on. People might be willing to click your link when you finally release that product if you’ve built up a bit of hype and suspense

5. Ask your followers to Stumble and / or Digg your website URL (be prepared to be reciprocal if they ask for the same)

6. Search Twitter for keywords related to your niche and add the users to your friends list

7. Search Twitter for those same keywords and answer questions that come up about that subject.  Then add those people to your list

8. Invite people to download your free report by visiting your website and joining your mailing list (do this once you’ve built up a large list of followers)

9. Post your availability for your service (consulting, freelance writing, freelance web design, SEO services, etc.) through a Tweet

10.  Re-tweet when others post interesting links and discussions. Re-tweeting is tweeting their links. You’ll make friends and happy followers this way and you’ll get given the same treatment which will increase your Twitter visibility
