"Yikes, and away!" This Daffy Duck tour de force is just about as close to a Road Runner equivalent that everyone's favorite wisecracking duck can reach. The smug Porky Pig and his laughing fit alone is worth the few minutes of time it takes to watch this amazingly entertaining animated achievement, as is the "ho, ha ha! guard! turn! parry!" gag.

Once again, we find Chuck Jones in the director's chair of one of the all-time great Looney Tunes. This is no coincidence, since animation fans have long recognized the talent of Chuck Jones and his many directorial efforts in great animation. Also notable in this cartoon is the animation of Abe Levitow, whose illustration style, which also appears in a number of Tom and Jerry cartoons, is at least as recognizable as the direction.

Another item of note is Daffy's bent beak in this cartoon, which became a running gag in a number of other Looney Tunes featuring Daffy Duck.
