Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova (Russian: Анна Сергеевна Ку́рникова, Anna Sergeevna Kurnikova; born on June 7, 1981)She is a semi-retired Russian professional tennis player and model. Her celebrity made her one of the best known tennis players worldwide. At the peak of her fame, fans looking for images of Kournikova made her name (or misspellings of it) one of the most common search strings on the internet search engine Google.
She has had some success at the singles game, reaching #8 in the world in 2000, but her specialty has been doubles, where she has at times been the world's No.1 doubles player. With Martina Hingis as her partner, she won Grand Slam titles in Australia in 1999 and 2002. Kournikova's major-league tennis career has been curtailed for the past several years, and possibly ended, by serious back and spinal problems.
Kournikova was born in Mascow in the former Soviet Union to Alla and Sergei Kournikov; she and her mother later emigrated to the United States. Currently, she resides in Miami Beach, Florida, and plays in occasional exhibitions and in doubles for the St.Louis Aces of World Team Tennis.
Her fastest serve was clocked at 111.2 mph during the Paris Indoors of 1998.

Ugh this is so wrong that you're all commenting saying it's fantastic to see her, and it's obvious you're basing it around her appearance and figure. Sportswomen should be viewed for their abilities and performance in the sports that they play, not for their figure and the colour they dye their hair. It's wrong and sexist. You all disgust me. The worst bit about it though is that she knows that that's what people think of her. How full of it can you get? That's the bit that disgusts me the most, and she takes pride in it as well. If I was her, I'd want to be known for the things I'd achieved in the sport that I love, not for the body that I have and the looks people notice me for.
