Testosterone, HGH and Libido
64Men and Testosterone, hgh and libido
Testosterone is known as the male hormone. It's production increases during puberty and leads to the development of your male characterstics. However, things do not always remain the same. As men age they start losing testosterone.
Yep, men start losing testosterone at 10% a decade after the age of 30 and this has been established scientifically. So, by the time you are 40, you start feeling the effects of a decline in testosterone.
Now this is just one part of the story. Ageing affects in you ways more than one. If you are losing testosterone, then what makes you think that the production of HGH is also not on a decline?
So, you are losing testosterone, you are losing HGH and your libido goes for a dive.
Now, one thing you should keep in mind is that it happens to almost everyone of us but some of us feel the effects more severely than the others.
What I have been trying to say is that there exists a direct relationship between Testosterone, HGH and Male Libido.
Testosterone and Bone Density
Studies indicate that men lose bone density and strength after the age of 30.
According to Bruce Schneider, a medical officer in FDA's Division of Metabolic and Endocrine Drug Products "But some men do have a hormonal drop-off in testosterone, with skeletal consequences that are similar to those seen in women following reduction of estrogen, Testosterone may diminish as a result of hypogonadism, a condition marked by decreased function of the testicles. Testosterone levels also may decrease naturally as a man ages. This loss of sex hormone eventually can result in accelerated bone loss. Whether bone loss at this point translates into osteoporosis, however, depends on how much bone a man has when the loss begins, and how quickly he loses it."
Testosterone and Male Libido
The most striking an disturbing effect of a decline in testosterone is it's effects on the male libido. Since Testosterone is the male or sex hormone, a dip in it's production leads to low libido in men often accompanied with weak erections or erectile dysfunction.
This is likely to make any man think that something is grieviously wrong with him. Usually men think this is just a case of simple ageing and try to treat it with prescribed medication instaed of getting to the root of the problem. But there are many a men who have a strong sex drive even in their 50's and 60's. Hence there seems to be no reason why you in your 30's have to live like an old man.
Testosterone and Mood Swings/Depression
This is but natural for any pne to get depressed if he ffels sexually incapable. Since there is an overall effect on a man's health as a result of a dip in testosterone, he he likely to get depressed more often than not.
Imagine yourself gaining weight, losing muscle, bone density, hair and energy and most of all weakening of your greatest asset (sexual power). It is not hard to guess, all this is going to make you depressed and worn out.
