Life of Luang Poo Yiam

 

In the year of 29th April BE 2469, at the age of 94, the high respectable monk, Luang Poo Yiam had departed away.

During his lifetime as a monk, Luang Poo Yiam or known as Jow Koon Dtow was one of the most famous monk in Thailand. He was very well-known to those who had collected his Kreung Rahng (magical items) and rian amulets. At that period of time, Luang Poo Yiam's rians were the top most collectible amulet in the series of BenJaPahKeeRian known to be the Great Five Rians.

In the year of BE2375, on 5th of August during the time of the 3rd King Regime in Bangkok, that was when Luang Poo Yiam was borned into this earth. When he reached the age of 9, Luang Poo Yiam had his schooling at Wat Nang. After he reached the age of 11, Luang Poo Yiam went to Wat Bowan for further studies and later had move to Wat RahtBurRaNa to continue his studies. Once he had reached the age of 19, Luang Poo Yiam had ordained as a novice at Wat Nang for a short period of time.

Reaching the age of 22, Luang Poo Yiam became a Thai Monk at Wat RahtOhRaSahRahm, and at that time, his preceptor was Pra SutTuMaTeRa (Gert). At that time, Pra TamMaJaDee (Jeen) and Pra Ah Jahn Rort, Wat Nang Norng were his Dhamma teachers. Under the teaching of Pra PahWaNahGohSon(Rort), Pra TamMaJaDee and Pra SangWonWeMon(Men), he learnt about Dhamma. During that time, Luang Poo Yiam was very hardworking Thai monk and later was promoted as Pra BaikiGah (monk title) and subsequently became Pra PaLatTahNuKrom (monk title).

Here is a special Kathah and it is called Kathah ItTiPiSoh Rian Dteui:

"It Ti Pi Soh We Se Se It

It Se Se Put Tat Nah Me It

It Me Nah Put Tat Dta Soh It

It Soh Dta Put Tat Pi Dti It"
