Thanking All Hubbers! And I Need Some Advice.
67I just wanted to take the time now, because as I go along with my writing I may over look thanking all the Hubbers, that have read and become fans of mine in a short 2 weeks. I really appreciate all the comments and warm welcome from you all.
This isn't going to be a long drawn out Hub, bla, bla, bla, but I just can't believe how far my ranking has come in just a few short weeks. THANK YOU!
I also want to say I am enjoying all of your Hubs and try to read as many as I can, and become fans of your hubs as well. Allot of good reading out there tremendous topics. Basically something for everyone.
So now for some advice. I probably should put this question in the forum and it may well be in there now, I'll check that too. But you can always leave a comment or e-mail me by all means. My question is about Google AdSense, I'm sure I'm missing the boat on this. Is is worth it? Is it difficult to sign up? And most important to me how do the taxes work?
Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance. Have a great day, and keep on hubbing!

I have requested for adsense account when I have 8 hubs published, but the refused..
Now I have 22 hubs ....I will try again in 1-2 days
I suggest that when u have 15-20 hubs then only you request for a adsense account..
Natalie and Cute, thanks for the info. I will probably do a few more hubs and proceed with Google and also checkout Amazon.
Hi K, I just signed up for HP and Adsense. The process for signing up for Adsense was simple, but I have yet to earn anything. I need to write more. :)
It is easy to sign up for but honestly the payouts are minuscule. Still, it's better than nothing. Welcome to the Hub Pages Community.
Thanks James for the welcome and comment. I figure the same thing, not looking to get rich but it's better than nothing. Not my main source of income for sure. But I love to write and meeting the new friends I've made is an added plus.
And what part of Michigan you from? Did you read my "Summer Is Over" hub? You can probably relate huh?
I am from St. Joseph. You? I've been here in Orlando 18 years but I still visit St. Joe twice a year.
Hey Jame,
St Joe, know it well. I'm in Garden City, hear of it? Near Livonia.....only been to Orlando once, to Disney World in 1997. Well keep in touch will you?
Thanks
Yes, we'll stay in touch. Sure I know Livonia. I mixed one of my albums in Livonia after we recorded it at Motown Studios. Nice to meet another Michigander.
Should have read this at the beginning and from what I can see you are doing wonderfully on hubpages! I hope you ironed out Google Adsense I wish you a warm and Happy Holiday! :)
Thanks AEvans, appreciate the comment. You have a great Holiday Season also. :)
Well done on your hubs! Great reading your hubs!
Thanks Cheeky, appreciate it. K
Those are good questions I wish I had answers and advice as I am new to all of this myself. I will however state that it is my pleasure to read your hubs and look forward to reading more soon.
AuthorLMS thanks for stopping by. I have learned allot more in the 4 months I've been here. And one of the biggest things I've learned is the great fans and great comments I get, like the one you just left. Thank you, K.

You are welcome, and thank you too! Google Adsense is easy to sign up for. I personally have not made any money yet, which is a good thing since I'm not relying on this for a source of income. I am not discouraged, and the great thing is that I can continue writing and if I happen to make money, then great - but I'm not losing any in the effort (unless you say that time spent writing is money). As far as taxes go: Google takes some info so they can keep track of earnings for tax purposes (such as SSN). So if that makes you uncomfortable, it might be a problem. Good luck in whatever you decide to do! Amazon is also a neat thing to check into...
