Memories of your family,friends and pets will stay with you longer if you preserve them in pictures! Here are some ideas I've thought of. Do you enjoy taking your family to the beach and collecting shells? Get a picture of some family members picking up shells along the beach. Then, buy a flat picture frame and glue some of your shells onto the frame and insert a photo of someone collecting those same shells! For a pet dog you could preserve mini dog biscuits in a varnish,then glue them around a picture frame that holds a photo of your favorite dog! Use the colored dog biscuits for a more interesting affect.Does someone in your household sew for a hobby or business? Get a piture of them at the sewing machine, and for a frame for that photo, glue brightly colored buttons onto the frame. Try neutral-colored buttons if that fits your decor better. Have a cook in the home? You guessed it! Glue colored macaroni in whatever shapes onto a frame! A new baby in your home? Try this: find those little cake toppers like plastic rattles,carriages,babies,etc. and glue onto a picture frame that holds a photo of your new little one. These would make great gifts for grandparents or other relatives,too! Does your family go camping or on other outings? Buy charms or little trinkets of canoes,trees or whatever theme fits your pictures and glue them around your frame for preciuos memories. Display these framed pictures in your home on walls,atop bureaus,tables,and shelves to hold the memories each time you look at them. Use sports related charms on a frame for a picture of a child into sports. How about glueing cheap paintbrushes onto a frame of your little artist? Do you have children making little artworks for you at home or school? Save these and put into shadowbox frames or you could even have the child draw a picture using fabric crayons,then you'd iron them onto a t-shirt for the child to wear or onto fabric squares and make them into a quilt full of memories of the moment to share with your child in later years.
