Troubadour Speak Sing Over Banjo Strums:

Way back in November of 16 and 20

when the Pilgrims said their farewells,

their Mayflower she was headed for Virginia

or so their history tells.

Had they not turned right instead of left,

had they not lost their way.

What we’d be eating ‘stead of Turkey,

would be Crab this Thanksgiving Day.

Continued Spoken:

The Mayflower actually was headed for Plymouth County,

Virginia. Hence, the name Plymouth Rock.

Continued Sung:

Too bad about the turn they took

way back that November day

or else we’d be cracking a Crab.

this H a p p y Thanksgiving Day.

(BEAT/STRONG) WWWWIIIIIIIITTTHHH …. A

ALL: National Beer, National Beer

You’ll like taste of National Beer.

And while we’re singing, we’re proud to say,

It’s brewed on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay.

jiberish. Since Bush & Cheney stopped singing their "We Love Iraq" ballad,

I don't know anyone there today who can sing, except maybe for the kids.
