Thanksgiving Backgrounds And Wallpapers

Since today marks the official end of Halloween 2009 and the Halloween decorations in my house were all taken down and packed away in the huge tupperware container the kids were sad and felt empty. Daddy what are we going to put up around the house now? Then my son who is still pretty young said, "I got it Dad let's but up some Thanksginving lights they could be brown and red." I kind of laughed at the idea and didn't give it another thought.

However, I noticed that in recent years we have had a ton of fun doing Halloween and Christmas decorations around the house and the kids really love it. We don't go overboard with anything but some ights and a few blow up lawn things etc.

However, there really is not much out there in the stores for Thanksgiving. Most of the stores like Lowe's and Kohls pretty much jump right from Halloween right into the selling frenzy of Christmas.

Not sure what to do and spending some time in my home office on the computer I finally stumbled upon a screen save website and I thought well of course a Thanksgiving screensaver and wallpaper are just what the kids need. So as I went around and changed the clocks and picked up toys from the ground that before lunch I went to the family computer and my office computer and found some fun Thanksgiving wallpaper and a screen saver. Since my kids are still pretty young and they don't use the computer much yet I wondered how long it would take them to notice and what there reaction would be. Of course just as a finished the thought of I wonder the kids came running in and yelled excitedly, "Daddy check ou thte computer it changed". Of course it took them no more then about two minutes to notice the changed I had made.
