Colorful, Fun and Easy!!

No matter how you cook your hot dog, what kind of weiner it is, or what bun you put it in, debatably, a hot dog is all about the toppings. Ketchup, mustard, relish and chili are some standards, but what if you're longing for something with more punch? Here's an original recipe that's full of flavor and super easy to make with readily available ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbs. Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic pepper or black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt or salt
  • 4 Tbs. chopped bread and butter jalapenos or pickles
  • 2 Tbs. chopped white onions
  • 2 Tbs. yellow mustard
  • 2-3 Tbs. mayonaise

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, pour olive oil.
  2. Add spices and stir.
  3. Chop onions and jalapenos/pickles.
  4. Add mustard and mayonaise.
  5. Mix and enjoy.

**For an extra flavorful topping, add in 1-2 Tbs. crumbled Feta Cheese.  It's creamy and salty and adds a new punch to the mix.**

See? How easy is that? The flavor is fantastic and the colors are out of this world. Try it today and beat the drab dog blues!!
