PAT BENATAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't agree with all of these as the top 100 female pop/rock artists. But I definitely agree with Janis Joplin, Aretha, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Mariah Carey, and Linda Ronstadt.
Who DON'T you agree with? AND who's missing?
what now? You sound like that queen crying on youtube. LOL
haha. that queen from YouTube being Chris Crocker? LOL. I think Amy Winehouse should be higher! She is amazing! Aretha Franklin is a perfect number one. And Madonna is also the perfect number one of the pop princesses. :)
Tayler!
Amy Winehouse higher? Considering she only has one album, I put her very very high. Let's see what she does next.
Amy actually has TWO ALBUMS
Frank and Back to Black
aretha franklin number one is good people would disagree but listen to her live n her 70s material and not the well known stuff that woman voice is amazing its like when people say about miceal jackson dancing how he do that u be like how she do that with her voice
Gosh....Where's Britney Spears? Why She's not in the list?!
This is not right....!
this is a rubbish list! britney spears really is the undisputed pop queen...the comeback SHE made could not have been made by ANYone in this list!
regarding aretha: her three consecutive albums in the early seventies... young gifted and black, i've never loved a man, and lady soul.......indisputable......
what i'd like to add about ladies of soul........alicia keys is on her way...only 28 and WOW!!!
Agnetha Fältskog's clear and sweet voice helped supergroup ABBA sell hundreds of millions of "units" worldwide. A special voice, still listened to today. And her partner Anni-Frid Lyngstad deserves a listing, too.
SARA MCLAUGHLIN
Nina Simone
OMG Nina Simone is fantastic. Not sure why I left her off exactly but it is a glaring ommision.
Melissa Manchester had one of the best voices ever.
