Proving the 90 minute Sleep Cycle

Referring to my first hub about waking up refreshed, I already know from experience that the 90 minute sleep cycle works and allows me to get more quality hours out of my day. You may be pessimistic because you have never tried it, which is understandable. Let's try it for 30 days and compare notes.

Starting fresh and early each morning, I accomplish so much more than staying up til 3am, half asleep, trying to write articles and mop the kitchen floor. I say I am getting a head start on the day, but all I am really doing is sloppy work at a zombie's pace. Inspired by ceounlimited, I decided to commit to thirty days because that happens to be a successful method for me when trying something new. By that time my midnight oil habits will be gone and my internal happy and refreshing alarm clock will be back in action.

In case you need refreshing, here is how it works. Plan your sleep time around your body's natural sleep cycles so that you are not disturbing yourself during the deepest phases of sleep. This causes easier and more energetic wake ups.

Okay, who's with me? We'll start August 1st. We'll track our results as we see fit and as a bonus we should have good waking habits just in time to get the kiddies back to school!

Now if someone could just write a hub about how to get me to go to bed at night, my plan would be complete!

This is interesting and I see the point you are submitting. How does this 90 minute sleep cycle and planning sleep around you body's natural sleep cycle work out if you have to work. Can't sleep at work (usually - lol). Still though, this is a great concept to address here. DaVinci was the 'founder' of cycle sleeping. If I had the time to commit to this experiment I'd give it a try. Good informational Hub... Thanks for putting it out there.
