So, here it is, the TRUTH, the whole truth, and nothing but the TRUTH! So help me! It was 4/20/08 and I was in Amsterdam. I was contemplating where I wanted to spend my 4/20/08 celebration day(more on why 4/20 is so important in another article and check out my other article on this day) and more importantly, where I wanted to be at 4:20pm on 4/20/08. Of course, it was not long before I decided that I wanted to be at Grey Area Coffeeshop, where the clock is always 4:20. As they do not open till noon and I was up early, 8.am., I went for breakfast. I was staying in the Leidseplein at the time, which is the Nightlife, club area, of Amsterdam(stay tuned for more on the Leidseplein soon) and Grey Area is a walkable distance for most but you can hop on the tram, which I did that day.  You know, I was in a hurry to eat.  I decided to eat breakfast at Barney's Breakfast Bar across from their Coffeeshop.  It was a celebration day so why not start the day off right with a big breakfast at Barney's with a glass of champagne or mimosa.  I ordered my breakfast, then proceeded to enjoy a morning joint, which sparked my hunger triple-fold.  It must of been my lucky day(turns out is was) because the moment I finished my joint, my food came dropping in on my table like rain in a heatwave.  I thoroughly enjoyed the Barney's Breakfast experience that day as I have so many times, (Thank you Derry and Sissi), but this was extra special.  The timing, the complimentary second drink by Sissi was GREAT!  She is a sweetheart and her husband Derry is a GREAT guy!  Well, my next stop, was Sissi's shop Amnesia Coffeeshop, another GREAT shop!  Truly, ONE of MY FAVORITES.  I arrived at Amnesia at 10:30 am and had some GREAT Amsterdam "Coffee", Pink Kush, and some other great coffee, espresso!  I talked, rapped, hung with some locals there and proceeded to Grey Area at 11:30am to see if they would be open early.  My luck again, I was let in by Jon/Adam and the party was on.  The place where the clock always reads, 4:20, literally and figuratively.  I purchased 5 grams of "Amsterdam Coffee" from Grey Area, their GREAT old reliable Grey Haze and 3 grams of the WONDERFUL L.A. Confidential.  Immediately I was told of the plan to roll a 30 gram joint for 4:20pm and I was stoked.  I mean 30 grams is, one ounce + 2 grams, it is a lot.  It is INTENSE.  Moments later I get hit with the news, Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson are coming the shop too, WOW!  I was hyped, 4:20 on 4/20/08 with Snoop and Willie.  The joint was rolled, 30 grams of INTENSE flavor, all TOP-SHELF Sensimilla bud.  So the count was on, 30 minutes and still NO Snoop or Willie.  Well, 4:20 pm comes, the joint gets lit, it gets hit, it gets passed and passed and passed.  The excitement, the euphoria of ALL who participated in smoking that joint was a moving experience.  It was NICE to see so many people, not only feel HAPPY to see something so big and nicely rolled, but for ALL to be sharing!  Anyone who came in the shop from 4:20pm until at least 5:30pm hit that joint.  Wow, Yes, it smoked for over an hour with a huge ROACH, they still had the last I checked for memories!  Go see it and/or ask em to see it at GREY AREA Coffeeshop.  So, Snoop and Willie missed the joint, but they DID show up, I did meet, greet, and smoke with them both.  They were GREAT people, truly.  The hour they spent smoking, hanging, chilling, was refreshing to know, I too, belong!  See my story on Snoop and Willie I posted yesterday) and SEE the VIDEO BELOW of the 30 GRAM JOINT, WOW!.  Thank YOU, Peace, and 420!  Christopher Amsterdam
