Anti Aging Diet
Living healthy is very beneficial of course! I'm a liberal vegetarian (I eat fish). I have read and studied a lot of books on health and nutrition and found this diet to be the best way possible to keep the youthful look and feel young. I am in my twenties and I notice a lot of women my age look twenty years older than me, this diet is good if you start young but it's never too late to get started. The diet keeps your body fit along with the exercise of course! Acidic foods are harmful and contribute to many diseases. Cutting down on acidic foods and eating lots of fruits and vegetable instead can support the body.
Here's the basics.
An anti aging diet is high in complex carbohydrates like, grains, legumes, vegetables and fruits also nuts and seeds. many are eaten raw or some what close to its natural state. It shouldn't be processed or over cooked stir-frying is okay. Also very small if any animal proteins are eaten the fats are used very sparingly. only about 10-15 % of calories should come from fat. Complex carbohydrates help us in many ways. For example they are high in fiber and can prevent common afflictions associated with aging such as, high blood pressure, intestinal disease and many more. These complex carbohydrates are also rich in phytochemicals, antioxidant substances found in plants that help us prevent everything like cancer, arthritis, wrinkles, heart disease and age spots.
Green Foods is a blood purifier. It contains Chlorophyll which can cure various infections in the respiratory tract and can minimize the effects of various pollutants.
Garlic and Onions contain sulfur compounds that have an anti-aging and anti-cancer effect.
Water and Juice pure water is essential for a good diet. Eight 8 oz glass of water is the minimum recommendation. Fresh enzyme-rich juices should be a part of your diet too.
Sea Vegetables and Algaeis also good for you. Kelp and Nori are high in calcium, iodine, potassium and magnesium.(Kelp can re-balance thyroid metabolism and result in successful weight management, it can also reverse the effect of several conditions that are caused by a thyroid imbalance, like stomach and respiratory disorders.) Spirulla and Chlorella are water borne algae that are rich in chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. They protect against the effects of aging.
You can also take antioxidant supplements like vitamin A (not too much vitamin, A that can be toxic), Beta Carotene, Bioflavonoids, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium, Zinc, NADH. Minerals and herbs are also good for you. Aromatherapy is also helpful.
Try to avoid stress. You can reduce stress by deep breathing, tai chi, yoga and massage. Also aerobic exercise is helpful. Being positive and thinking young is helpful too.
