The Aptera

When I first took a look at the Aptera Typ-1 I didn't really know what to think. Is it a motor bike or a car. In fact I found out later that the Aptera is registered as a motorbike. I would like to say that I would describe it as an oversized three wheeled motorbike with a cockpit. Sounds odd, right? Well its true. These vehicles do exist. They are a two seater, sci-fi fans dream come true. There is one more addiction. They come as hybrids or fully electric.

What's amazing is that despite their sleek look, they are very safe, empolying a sound structure way passed federal regulations. The thing I thought was really cool was the Aptera has a climate control interior, fueled by a solar cell on the top of the car.

And guess what their price is? Under 30,000 dollars. Not bad at all.
