I am personally offended by Kim Kardashian's place in our society. I think it is necessary to have villains and she makes Paris Hilton look like a hero. Paris used to be the epitomy of "being famous for nothing." But, after establishing a hit reality tv show (in part due to a nicely-timed release of a homemade porn) and capitalizing on her "brand" she is, no doubt, a hard-worker.

Kim, on the other hand, was only granted a reality tv show after having a sex tape come out. And by being associated with Paris Hilton. And, she gets peed on. WTF?

Ironically, poor Tara Reid was rejected the ultimate fading-celebrity-coveted-role of Dancing-with-the-Stars-participant because her reputation is not family-friendly. Now, I know my family is Irish so there may our loyalties lie but drinking is much MUCH more acceptable amongst my kin in comparison to being a girl with a loose repuation... and that is putting Kim Kardashian's repuation midly.

And, she's not nice. Where Paris loves her fans and takes pictures of them Kim Kardashian is notoriously bitchy (Defamer's story on her hating hurt people, anyone?) and a liar. Darling, you are NOT a size 2. And that is OK. Let your little fans know that. If not for anything else, let the little girls who aspire to make porn videos and have men pee on them know it's ok to be curvy and maybe be a size 6.

If Paris Hilton in know for "famous for doing nothing" let Kim Kardashian be known for being "famous for being worthless." I believe the rise or her celebrity in our society can be used as a direct correlation to what is wrong with American values. We cannot idolize these people. It's disgusting.
