And take care not to wander

Into all their favourite haunts

That they consider sacred

They’ll quickly fry you to a crisp

With cutting slights intended

‘I have a plan’ young Gamma said

Let’s clone ourselves and enter

Let’s send a phantom hubbit force in

With inane posts they’ll pester

The residents who never stoop

To low brow cheers and chatter

With our Congrats and Birthday wishes

We’ll metamorphose the matter

What if our clones and phantoms are

The opposite sex and rocking!

So quickly they did step right in

And before you could imagine

They’d filled the Fortress with their pranks

From god-like status suddenly

From erudite argument

The tone and content of the place

Slipped from ivory tower to pavement

Those low-brow, raucous hot comments

Rode high on the forum fortress

The lofty strings they sank away

To history ‘neath the madness

The attack was over in a trice

The Outside Hubbits now victorious

Called themselves the Alter Egonauts

Their mood golden and hubbitlicious!

They would have done ol’ Jason proud

With their phantom alter egos

He’d have loved to have these Egonauts

By his side when on adventures he goes.
