The Muppet Show Version
SERIES TWO
EPISODE ONE ~~ the merger
We have a cold opening of Tim at his desk as Gareth arrives with a song in his head. >> Press Play to view. Later on we find out Tim has been promoted top Sr. Sales Rep while Gareth remains the team leader which means absolutely nothing. Tim is now an authority figure and he is not afraid to express it. Just ask Lee and Dawn who are reprimanded quite strangely. Meet the new boss Neil who seems to be quite a cool customer much to the dismay of David Brent. Gareth breaks his new toy which annoyingly repeats, "STOP! Move Away From The Cookie Jar!"
The funny bit about the royal family and a black man's c**k leads to early trouble for Brent and his idea of fixing the problem makes it much worse. Also Tim is thrown against the wall by a visibly jealous and tense Lee. Brent's first impression on his new boss in just one day is hilarious meltdown and self-destruction pefectly played by Ricky Gervais.
New Sheriff in Town > Neil
EPISODE TWO: overdoing it
David overcompensational speeches about his love for Sidney Poitier are so full of b.s. that we cringe. Lee apologizes to Tim for their little confrontation and then we have a fire drill which does not bode well for anyone in a wheelchair! Lunch at the pub goes exactly the opposite way Brent wants it to go as usual.
David then insults his boss Neil on the way back from lunch in front of everyone and he gets a talking to for it. Gareth then approaches new office hottie Rachel and offers her terms for possible sexual encounters between them. The 'Muppet' impression is the best. We close with an original poem by David Brent called "Excalibur".
Tim and Rachel
Chris 'Finchy' Finch
EPISODE THREE ~~ hide the dildo
David shows up today in new shoes and a beige leather jacket and feeling sex-y! While Tim takes the new guy downstairs for a tour Trudy receives a dildo for her birthday. As David is meeting with 2 executives who would like to hire him to be a guest speaker at a training presentation. Tim interupts long enough to hide the dildo on Brent's desk. When he finds in front of the execs, his first question is to the female exec in the room is, "Is this yours?" Dawn is definitely jealous of Rachel and hands flirtations with Tim. Finchy stops by for the birthday party and after the credits finish we see he and Trudy boning in the parking lot.
"My knees hurt." - Trudy. "There you go" - Finchy.
Dawn watching Tim and Rachel
EPISODE FOUR ~~ the presentation
another classic
I don't know what it is about the fourth episodes being the best in both series, but it's true. This episode has it all baby! Dawn walks in on Tim & Rachel kissing....awkward. Brent shows up with an earring today in order to impress the young people he plans to mentor later that day but his bloody earlobe is so lame, you just die laughing. Gareth is the next to discover Tim & Rachel and he is appauled to say the least. Then we met the obnoxious techie guy who is of course a god to Gareth. All hell breaks loose in this one when David Brent finds out about the new nick-names he's received by his new staff from Swinton. Bluto as in the fat bully from Popeye cartoons and Mr. Toad which sets him off. To come down he gets a friendly shoulder rub from Gareth in order to calm down before his big performance...
Photo for the newsletter is first and Brent is off to flying start. He is posing and preening like Shirley Temple. Then we get to his "SIMPLY THE BEST" presentation. Tina Turner must have been laughing her ass off when she saw it.
EPISODE FIVE ~~ red nose day
It's a Halloweenish fundraiser with Gareth hopping on one foot, Brent is a Red-Nose and Dawn with a kissing booth. One poor guy wearing his clothes backwards is stripped naked. Gareth offers a cripple test using a fire alarm and Keith is dressed like Ali G. Neil and Rachel offer a Saturday Night Fever dance display but that only prompts David Brent into a jealous dancing / flailing mess which some people feel is the definitive moment in the show. We also meet Gareth's crew including the infamous Augie who is played by co-creator Stephen Merchant perfectly; the googlie-eyed freak. Tim finally gets in the spirit when he decides to hide Gareth's belongings for charity. Dawn pulls Tim in for a romantic but brief kiss and then.....
Brent has his bluff called by Neil and Jennifer and he is sacked. They offer a redundancy package which leaves him reeling. He tries to offer a plea of forgiveness but to no avail. He trots out in a chicken/bird costume for a publicity photo right afterward which is hysterical. Boo-ya-ka-sha! - Keith

- The Office ~ Episode Guide: Updated Wkly
I have a sickness. I'm am driving my wife nuts. All I wanna do is watch "The Office". Everyday single day. When she isn't home or sleeping I am sneaking even more episodes. I have all 3 Seasons on DVD and... - Top 5 Video: from TV Show(s) The Office
EPISODE SIX ~ last day
This one is bloody awesome. (Writer not only writes but speaks in fake british accent) Brent begins by comparing himself to Jesus and is desperate for someone to care. They don't. He starts dropping unwanted business cards everywhere. Tim has apparently broken Rachel's heart and Gareth offers to help with his Dirty Berty Doll in hand. Brent is also giving a story to a reporter who is confused throughout. He eventually just gets frustrated and kicks her out of his office as Dawn enters to give her notice. Tim is offered Brent's job but he defers it to Gareth instead. BEST LINE: "I LIke Blacks." Oh yeah and Tim dramatically rips off his mic and lays it on the line once more to Dawn but is rebuffed. End of Series. End of Show.
or is it?????
"Hold On! Hold On! I'm not licked yet!"

The entire BBC show had wrapped when they started making the American Version.
It is however quite a bit different in humor styles

DUMB QUESTION.... is the BBC office a completely different program than the office we have?
