When you think of Brazil, you may have a few images come to mind.
If you're into partying, it might be festivals and celebrations (Think Rio) or if your into martial arts, it might be Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
But to a lot of people (men mainly) , Brazil conjures forth one image....Brazilian girls.
Yep, the beauty of Brazilian women has become almost legendary, and with good reason.

Adriana Lima
Of course you can't do any list without the Queen of Brazilian models, Adriana Lima.
Adriana was born on June 12, 1981, in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
To say she is famous is an understatement.
She won the Ford's Supermodel of Brazil competition when she was fifteen years old, and she hasnt lost any speed since.
Adriana has done advertising work for companies like Christian Lacroix, Versace, BCBG, Vera Wang, Fendi, Armani and of course the company that made her a superstar...Victoria's Secret.
She has been on and topped practically every "Sexiest" list out there, and has even appeared in a movie (The Follow) and a few TV shows ("Ugly Betty", "How I Met Your Mother").
And she has appeared on the cover of almost every major magazine.

Alessandra Ambrosio
Probably the second most popular Brazilian model in the world is the stunning Alessandra Ambrosio.
Alessandra was born in Erechim, Brazil on April 11, 1981.
Like Adriana she started early, at the age of fourteen, she was one of the twenty finalists for an elite modeling competition in Brazil.
Alessandra's first big modeling job was the cover of the Brazilian Elle magazine.
Things took off from there and again like Adriana, she started working for some of the biggest companies around.
And of course, she is another of Victoria's Secret's "Angels".

Daniela Cicarelli
Daniela Cicarelli is totally different from the first two.
She is a former hostess for MTV Brasil and a fashion model who was born on November 6, 1978, in Lavras, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Her biggest claim to fame seems to be in scandals.
First, at her wedding to Brazilian professional footballer Ronaldo, she kicked Brazilian model Caroline Bittencourt out of the event.
Then she and Ronaldo stayed married for a total of 86 days.
Then she was involved in the "Spanish beach video scandal" that really gave YouTube a headache.

Feiticeira
Joana Mortimer Prado, better known as Feiticeira was born on June 22, 1976 in São Paulo, Brazil.
She's a Brazilian model, but she's probably best known for playing the character Feiticeira on a television show called H.
Feiticeira is Portuguese for "sorceress" and she dressed up kinda like Jeannie from the old "I Dream of Jeannie" TV show.
Joana is married to Brazilian mixed martial artist Vitor Belfort.

Gisele Bündchen
Gisele Bündchen, the highest-paid model in the world and the sixteenth richest woman in the entertainment world, was born in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil on July 20, 1980.
When she was young, Gisele wanted to be a volleyball player and was teased by children at school because of the way she looked.
But at the age of fourteen, Gisele was discovered by a modeling agency while eating at a McDonalds in São Paulo.
I guess she got her revenge huh?
Gisele started placing in modeling contests and eventually wound up in New York city in 1996.
She went on to achieve great fame in modeling working for almost evey major company.
Gisele does a lot of charity and humanitarian work like the I am African campaign (Africa's HIV/AIDS victims), St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Zero Hunger and protecting the Brazilian Atlantic Forest and Amazon Rainforest water sources.
When Alessandra Ambrosio moved to New York, Gisele let her stay at her apartment while she looked for her own.

Karina Bacchi
Brazilian actress and model Karina Bacchi was born on October 8th, 1976 in São Manuel, São Paulo, Brazil.
She has appeared in several Brazilian TV shows starting with "Vidas Cruzadas" in 2000 as Renata.
Karina is also a writer. She has written the books El CoDiGo K, Patricinhas Sem Salto and Felizka.

Ana Beatriz Barros
Ana Beatriz Barros was born on May 29th, 1982 in Itabira, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
She is a Brazilian model and I swear I could almost copy and paste Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio's write up here, change the names and no one would know the difference.
Born in Brazil...check.
Started working for Elite Model Management in their teens (Ana was fourteen)...check.
Worked for Guess?, Bebe, Victoria's Secret, Chanel...check.
I think there is some kind of cosmic cookie cutter at work here.
