Do anyone like walking? I think all of us like walking. Walking is the easiest activity and we all do this everyday. It's like simple aerobic and I believed that we do it well. Moving another place, like from living room to bedroom we need some walk. Visiting our neighbor we need walk also. Sometimes we don't pay attention from this activity. If we concern and serious doing this activity, we get a lot of benefit behind this. We get more healthy, we get fresh body doing activity all day long after walking. And I will post about the benefit of walking. It mean not simple walking, like you move 3 meters from your position to another place.But we do serious walking that give us benefit from this activity. We have to doing this consistent. The better result if we doing this activity regularly , we have schedule and we have to keep promised to do it well.



Here's the fact about walking :

  • Walking every minutes can prolong our  life 1.5 to 2 minutes
  • Walking 20 minutes everyday  will burn 7 pounds of fat per year
  • Walking longer each day just only for 40 minutes is the best way to lose weight
  • Fast walking start from 20 until 25 minutes each day is the best condition for our heart and lungs.


Here's the benefit of walking, like :

Preventing Stroke. Despite the benefits of walking hurriedly to the stroke has not as real influence on coronary heart disease. A long ago there was limited case for stroke. There is a research from 70 thousand nurse. They walk 20 hours a week, it reducing stoke up to two-thirds.

Stable weight. If we walk regularly cause increasing metabolism. In addition a number of wasted by walking activity. Excess calories may be burn there by increasing our metabolism. So the weight gain did not happen. It good news for us.

Pressing Heart Attack Risk. the heart muscle needs more blood flow freely and smoothly. walking hurriedly quicken the blood flow in coronary heart. therefore, the heart muscle get enough oxygen and heart muscle working stable. Walking hurriedly could reducing half of heart attack.

Lose Weight. Excess fat under the skin will burn if diligently doing enough speed walk at least one hour.

Preventing diabetes. Diabetes is kind of serious disease now. We have to be aware and preventing this disease. Walking about 6 km per hour on with 50 minutes.Walking about 6 km per hour approximately 50 minutes, it can delay or prevent the development of diabetes. especially on those fat. During the blood sugar can be controlled by moving the body (Brisk walking), the drug is not required. Walking hurriedly become anti diabetes drug.

Preventing Osteoporosis. With walking fast not only the body muscles are strengthened, but the bones are also. For the metabolism of calcium, we have to move our body like walking beside sunbathing in the morning to prevent osteoporosis.

Depression Treatment. Body moving like walking also helps patients with depression status. walking hurriedly to replace antidepressants should be taken regularly. This study about benefit of walking for depression had been done for 10 years old.

Preventing Cancer. Cancer can be canceled when we walk regularly. Type of the cancer is colon cancer (colorectal carcinoma).


Beside those benefit there are another benefit of walking, like: helps in controlling appetite ,increasing our energy, slow aging, lowering blood cholesterol levels, lowering high blood levels, Strengthen the leg muscles and thighs.



So, why we don't do this nice activity start from now. Let's invite our family, walking together on Sunday. It will be great activity. Remember to always warming up first, and relaxation after a walking. Wear shoes that fit a little loose at the front. In anticipation of widening the feet while walking and avoiding pain.I hope this hub give benefit for us.

I walk every day now I have a dog, even when you don't feel like it you know you have to for the dogs sake. But that is one of the reasons we got him.

You are exactly right. Walking is one of the best exercises. My wife and I walk quite a bit. When my wife wants to go shopping I can count on hours of walking.

I still walk a lot as neither Hubby nor I drive. However I do not walk as much as my knees are getting a little dodgy. Do love walking though

Hi prasetio30, great hub. Walking is really beneficial in many ways to people, but people like me are a bit lazy when it comes to walking. However, i walk up and down my stairs not less than 20 times each day. I'm always restless, thats why. Does that count for walking ? LOL!!!!

Nice Hub on walking prasetio30. It's my favourite exercise, after swimming, as going to the gym bores me rigid! I also have never understood those people who stand in bus queues for ages to go a couple of stops - they could have walked it in half the time!
