70So I am definitely one of those people that do not enjoy working out or waking up early. So if I tell you now I wake up at 5:30 am every morning to workout. You should realize that the benefits must be very significant. I have always suffered forcing myself to go to the gym and things like that. Working out in the morning doubles the time needed to loose weight and it is a big motivator. Well at least it was for me.
Burn more calories in total a day
So when you wake up in the morning you're sleepy and tired. Even if you are up it does not mean your metabolism is up. It takes a while to actually stimulate and wake up your metabolism. It may take hours to wake up your metabolism. If you work out in the morning you are garenteed to wake up your metabolism and burn more calories throughout the day. So you are getting the benefits or working out and cramming more calories burnt within the whole day. If you know anything about loosing weight you know that every little bit helps. Most people like to drink coffee to wake up your system, but that is the temporary artificial way.
Sleeping better at Night
Working out in the morning helps you to sleep better at night. It will make your body want to go to sleep earlier and you will get on a better sleep cycle. If you work out in the evenings or at night you are stimulating your metabolism and it will be harder to force your body to go to sleep when you want to.
More Energy
Working out in the morning gives you more energy throughout the day and makes you feel more motivated. When you wake up your body that early and force your body to work out in the morning it makes your body feel more awake during the whole day instead of slowly trying to wake up. Also morning workouts help you with mental clearity. Morning workouts stimulate your brain activity making your thinking more sharp. Also if you are sleeping well it prepares your mind for the next day.

Stick with It
Now this may sound a little cheesy but if you work out in the morning, it helps you to stick with it. Now how many times has this happened to you? You go to work, run errand and by the time you get home, you are too tired or too lazy to make yourself go to the gym. Most people say they will go to the gym after this or that but most times it doesn't end up happening. If you make yourself wake up earlier, you will do it because it is the first thing you do and this is time set aside to workout. Its not like you are saying I'll do it when I do it.
