The Best Brownie Recipe Ever
74And these brownies are easy to make too
WARNING! These brownies are not healthy, but they taste freaking good.
Claiming these brownies are the best ever is a pretty high claim to make, but once you see how easy they are to whip up, you will never buy a box mix again. Your friends will be thinking that you spent all day in the kitchen, when these only take about 15 minutes to whip together.
Brownie Ingredients:
- 1.5cups granulated sugar
- 12 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2 tablespoons water
- 3 cups Chocolate Chips, Dark Chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 11/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9 X 13 pan with cooking spray.
- Combine sugar, butter, and water in a medium heavy duty saucepan. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly then remove from heat.
- Add half of the chocolate chips (1.5 cups) and then stir until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Add eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt and stir until everything is blended well.
- Add the last 1.5 cups of remaining chocolate chips. The mixture should be pretty gooey at this point in time and it will not be perfectly smooth.
- Pour mixture into baking pan and put into oven, set for 25 minutes.
- When the timer goes off, check with a toothpick to see if it comes out just a little sticky. If it doesn't, put back in the over for another 5 minutes and check again.
- Once the toothpick is just a little sticky when you pull it out, your brownies are done. Cool off and enjoy.
This recipe is a spin off of a Summer Berry Brownie Torte recipe that I tried once after finding it at Cooks Recipes; I then modified the recipe to suit my tastes better.
