Playmobil Toys are at the top of my favorite toy selection when shopping for my son. They are excellent quality, easily assembled (if any is required), and are always at the top of my sons wish list. He knows, Santa brings Playmobil gifts for Christmas, too. I so love having that support, to help out sometimes keeping up with all these great toys. Pirates and Ships are quite popular for play and since 'The Pirates of the Carribean' movie series came out starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, it has been a Pirate frenzy of fun, arrrr...

The Playmobil Pirates' Take Along Island to the left has been a favorite of my sons for the past 4 years. Can you believe it? This set is great for travelling with as well, since all the pirates', cannons, weapons and trees, all travel in the 'case' that the skull and base Island floor, create when put together.

As you can see to the left, Playmobil has a wide variety of Pirate Ship Sets to choose from... Keep in Mind that ALL ships come Fully Equipped, with their unique crews, treasure's, cannons, parrots, and weapons. There are some small pieces included such as swords,cannon's and anchors, so it is important to be cautious of children under 3 year old with those. Also, they could get lost easily. Some parents choose to glue the swords into the hands of the pirates so they don't get lost. I have not done this, I have instead chosen to ensure we put the pieces either in the ship when we are done and keep a backup of small pieces stored since all sets include s good stash of similar pieces...

I can say building on this theme of Pirates' has been very enjoyable... It brings countless hours of enjoyment, drawing out the imagination with children and a wonderful way to interact and spend quality time playing with you children. We have many items in the Pirates' theme by Playmobil, which is good to have for when my son has his friends over they can enjoy ship battles and such, ensuring everyone is taking part.

The next Ship on the wish list is the Large Pirate Ship. It resembles the Black Peal, from the Pirates' of the Carribean, and has the option of concealing the cannons below deck.

  This collection of toys are some of the best gift ideas for boys and girls.. Yes, I know girls that love this collection as well. I am one. :) ha ha... shhhh.

I love the variation of options that Playmobil provides, which are well thought out and extremely durable. That is why, I never question the price. The enjoyment seems timeless, they are so well crafted, easy to assemble and take apart (without breaking). We now that on top of the joy these great toys bring we are investing in quality. I also enjoy that Playmobil continuously adds new, exciting items to there themes. So, you can continue to add to a great toy selection, versus staring over all the time. The quality is so excellent that you can have confidence that these toys can be enjoyed and passed to other children to enjoy as well.
