Look Inside To Discover How to Find the Best in Ear Headphones
With iPods and MP3 players being like our second hand it seems more demand for in-ear headphones have been created than ever before. Most people usually just grab the closest set to them when they head to the audio store, but you want to be different. Getting the most for your money is what we all want, but first we need to know a little bit more about what is available in the in-ear headphone market before we can make a wise decision. One of the first things we must do is determine which set is best for ourselves. This way making a very informed purchase will be much easier. There are several criteria's that you will want to look at and these will include comfort, design and durability, sound and privacy. Let us look at each one real quickly and see how they will affect your choices.
Comfort is something that many of us hold in very high esteem so this is something many of us look very carefully at. Things to look at are how well do they fit and if they stay in when you are doing different things around the home or outside. Another important test is how they feel after several hours in your ears.
Design and durability is something we also look very closely at. If we are going to plunk down our hard earned money we want a set of headphones that will last us more than three or four months. The design also means a lot, as first impressions are important to us. We want a set that looks nice and is practical for the type of use it will get. Not since of buying something that we just do not like anyway.
Sound is probably one of the most important things we look at. We want a set of headphones that will produce pure sound and not distort if we decide to crank the volume up a little. More often than not a poor sounding set of headphones will sour us on the company for life. Privacy is another important issue, as we want to enjoy our music and to block out unwanted noise. This means that getting a good set that blocks ambient noise is very important to us.
Now that we have a good basic model on what most people look for in a in-ear set of headphones let us look at some of the better choices that are on the market right now. The Sony Fontopia headphones are a great entry from this popular company. These in-ear headphones are available in different sizes, which mean you should get an almost perfect fit in your ears. This is something that means a lot to people who love in-ear models. These are lightweight and sound good with a wide range of music so they should do the job for you nicely.
Another great choice is the Apple iPod In-ear headphones, which is a marked improvement over the standard issue that comes with the units. Different sized earpieces make a more snug fit that ever before. The biggest marked improvements are probably the comfort level. You can wear these for hours and not worry about them falling out or causing your ears any pain at all. That is something that Apple needs to improve and this model they have did just that. Sound quality is just about the same, but with the advancements they have made it is a very good upgrade to your factory iPod buds that may need replaced.
Bose in-ear headphones are another option that you will want to consider as these have outstanding sound at a very affordable price. Engineered and developed by Bose these are very comfortable and designed to wear hour after hour. You will be able to hear music clarity that you have not heard in a very long time with these in-ear headphones. Soft silicone tips are shaped to rest easily in the outer bowls of your ears that way you do not put pressure on your ear canals. A sleek protective case also comes with them to protect your investment for years to come. These are very good quality and will perform much better than the asking price, plus you get the Bose name which means quality beyond your expectations.
Finding the best in-ear headphones just takes some time as the three we have showed you will most definitely do the job for you. It all comes down to an individual preference so you will have to decide which works best for you in the end.

I've tried several in ear phones. The absolute best for the money are the Etymotic er6i. Sparkling clear! After listening to these all others sound like mud. I am a former musician with a very trained ear. You cant go wrong with these. My only 2 complaints are they are a bit flimsy, so you need to be careful with them. Secondly, I wish it had a bit deeper bass. Dont get me wrong... the bass is there and clear, just a bit thin for my taste.

SURE in-ear headphones are a great pick too. They are expensive, but they're comfortable and come with a few different earpiece tip options. There are also a few models with widely varying prices.
