Naruto has become one of the most successful and known animes of all time! But some people don't know that before being the successful anime that Naruto is, it started as a manga. Actually, the manga series, written by Masashi Kishimoto, is still being written, featuring as of now a remarkable number of forty five volumes!

The anime, produced by Studio Pierrot and Tv Tokyo, fallowed on the success of the manga and became the principal factor in getting the Naruto trademark to be known all over the world. It's star is, of course, Naruto Uzumaki, a clumsy yet hardworking boy that has the dream of being the best ninja of the world. Together with several of his friends he will fight many challenges to achieve this goal (actually we still don't know if he achieves it, as the anime is still ongoing, with more than 300 episodes so far!).

As a legion of fans grew, so did the shrines, artwork, wallpapers, videos amv's, blogs and so on, all created by Naruto Lover's all over the world. Some of this works are of an immense artistic value - yes, anime lovers are known for their creative skills.

Flickr, on the other hand, has become quite known in of itself. This photo-sharing website, were users from all the World wide web can share their pics for free and interact with each other in a dynamic way, is a great example of the fabled Web 2.0! It was no surprise for me then, to stumble upon incredible images in Flickr, related to almost any possible topic. Naruto was no exception! I was visually stunned by some of them and so I wanted, in the spirit of web 2.0, to share them a little more with world, giving my opinion of them.

This I will do now. I will show you twelve Naruto pictures that really caught my eye!

I really like this picture. It has great detail showing the evolution from young to adult Naruto. It also makes for an awsome wallpaper. Also very interesting is tha fact that each of the Naruto's was drawn from a single artist and then the compilation was made by another!

This picture is incredible detailed and cute! You can see the rice snack, Uzumaki Naruto's favorite snack, in the shape of it's own face. Only Hinata could have done one of those, of course, eheh!

This one is quite a small picture but I was mesmerized by the natural beauty of it. I mean look at the level of detail, not only of the anime charactrs, but of the background as well! It's almost photo-realistic and the way colors are used... just beautiful!

 Incredible montage of one of the many battles between Naruto and it's Nemesis (and former friend) Sasuke. It depicts very well the turmoil that exists between those two and clearly focuses on contrasts. Very nicely done.

A simple pic, but that it shows in full the strength and spike that the anime has :) Quite a nice pose of little kid naruto. He will always be a very likable main character - that is his way of the ninja!

 Stunning presentation of Naruto and Tsunade. The way the scenery with those tress and sky are mixed with the anime characters in superbly done! Another picture that would make an excelent wallpaper!
